农历正月十五是中国的传统节日——元宵节，为了让孩子们感受元宵节的欢乐，了解元宵节的一些风俗习惯，2019年2月19日上午，永恒宝贝幼儿园举办了“欢欢喜喜闹元宵”亲子活动，孩子们和家长通过做花灯、猜灯谜、搓汤圆、看舞狮舞龙等活动，共同感受中国传统节日的欢乐氛围。

January 15^th  aka the Lantern Festival is a traditional festival on Chinese lunar calendar. On the morning of February 19, 2019, Winhand Just Kids kindergarten held a festival celebration named "Happy Lantern Festival ", for parents and their children to enjoy and learn the conventions and culture of this special festival. Before they knew it, the parents and their children were totally enchanted by various festive activities such as lantern making, riddle solving, dumpling making and dragon dancing.

热闹的锣鼓敲起来，大大的灯笼挂起来，幼儿园的萌娃们闹元宵啦。

With gongs and drums being sounded, and with big lanterns hung up, a joyful festival started for our cute kids.

舞狮舞龙表演。舞狮舞龙是中国优秀的传统民间艺术，我们邀请了民间都以狮舞前来助兴。现场还有舞龙的精彩表演，家长和孩子们为他们的精彩表演激动的欢呼喝彩，家长都感叹：像这样的传统舞狮表演，还是小时候看到过，好精彩！

Dragon dance, one of China's excellent folk art, will be put on show during the Lantern Festival or other celebrations for entertainment purpose. The wonderful dragon dance organized by us received exciting cheers from the parents and their children.

“这是我做的花灯”，小朋友们看到自己制作的花灯特别的兴奋。

"I made this!" our kids were very excited to see the lantern made by themselves.

猜灯谜，小朋友们与家长共同完成的花灯上写满灯谜，各式各样精美的花灯把小朋友们的脸庞映衬得格外可爱。

Riddles were put on lanterns made by children and their parents. Our kids’faces looked particularly lovely among all kinds of exquisite lanterns.

大手小手搓汤圆。豆沙馅的汤圆一定很好吃！

Large hands and small hands made the dumplings together. The dumplings with bean paste as the filling must be very delicious!

“老师，这就是狮子拜年啊?”原来元宵节是这么热闹的呀，今天的精彩舞狮舞龙表演给小朋友们开了眼界，家长们对今天的元宵节活动也特别满意:“我只在小时候看过狮子表演，想不到可以陪孩子在幼儿园看到狮子表演，真是太好了！”

"So this is how a lion wishes you a happy new year?" Yes, and that is why the Lantern Festival could be so riproarious. The dragon dance is really wonderful and it greatly widened the children's horizon. The parents are also very satisfied with the activities : "I only saw the dragon dance when I was a child. It is really great to be with my children while watching the show in kindergarten. Terrific!”

香喷喷的元宵出锅啦！“嗯，好甜啊！” “我最喜欢元宵！”吃着自己亲手包的元宵，孩子们的脸上露出了满足的笑容。

Eating their own hand-made dim sum， our kids commented on their handy work with smiles of satisfaction.

趁着良辰美景，我们许下新一年的愿望：愿孩子们在新的一年里，健康快乐，茁壮成长！

While these harmonious scenes still lingers, allow us to make a New Year's wish: May all the children be healthy and happy, and may they grow up so fast in the New Year!
